Custom Travel & Booking SaaS Development

We build production travel & booking platforms the same way we built our own SaaS — full-stack, native mobile where it matters, real payments, and an admin that actually runs the business. Remote-first for founders worldwide, with honest "from" pricing in your currency, pay-as-it-ships, and full code ownership.

Ujjwal Technolabs builds custom travel and booking software end to end: inventory and availability, search, reservations, payments, cancellations, a traveller mobile app, and an operator dashboard. Founded by Deepak Nagar (12+ years full-stack), we ship on Laravel, Vue 3 and Flutter — and we already run our own payment-driven SaaS in production, so booking logic isn't theory to us.

The problem: booking logic is deceptively hard

From the outside, a booking platform looks like a calendar with a "Pay" button. In reality, availability, pricing, cancellations and payments all interact — and that's where generic templates fall apart. A reservation has to hold inventory without overselling. Pricing changes by date, season, occupancy and length of stay. A cancellation has to release inventory, calculate refunds against your policy, and reconcile with the payment provider. Add real concurrent traffic — two travellers racing for the last slot — and naive code produces double-bookings, orphaned holds and refund disputes.

These are not edge cases; they are the core of the product. Most off-the-shelf templates and page builders simply don't model them, which is why they break the moment a real operator depends on them for revenue.

What we'd build

A complete, operator-owned booking platform rather than a brittle template:

  • Inventory & availability — a model of your bookable units (rooms, seats, tours, equipment) with holds that prevent overselling under concurrent load.
  • Search & discovery — date-aware, filterable search that only surfaces what is genuinely available and priced.
  • Reservations — a reliable booking flow with temporary holds, confirmation and clear state transitions.
  • Pricing — date, season and occupancy-based rules so the price a traveller sees is the price you intend to charge.
  • Payments — integrated capture, with refund and reconciliation logic wired into your cancellation policy.
  • Cancellations — policy-driven refunds that release inventory and stay consistent with the payment provider.
  • Traveller mobile app — a native Flutter app for browsing, booking and managing trips.
  • Operator dashboard — one place to manage inventory, pricing, reservations, cancellations and payments.

The stack

We pick the tools the product needs. For a travel and booking platform, our proven core fits naturally:

  • Laravel 12 — the backend for bookings, pricing rules and payment handling.
  • Vue 3 — a fast, modern operator dashboard and web booking experience.
  • Flutter — a single codebase for native iOS and Android traveller apps.
  • MySQL — the source of truth for inventory, reservations and transactions.
  • Payments + calendar — gateway integration (Razorpay, Stripe, PayU, PhonePe) plus availability/calendar logic at the centre of the system.

If your product later needs search at scale, ML-driven recommendations or other capabilities, we're fluent in an extended stack too — but everything above is technology we run in production today.

Scope & honest pricing

A custom travel and booking platform of this scope starts from ₹4,00,000. We bill monthly as the product ships — pay-as-it-ships — so cost tracks real progress, not a lump-sum guess. You get full code ownership from day one, you can pause anytime, and there's no platform lock-in: this is your asset, not a subscription you rent forever.

The honest part: the exact figure depends on how many inventory types, pricing rules, payment providers and policy variations you need. The fastest way to a real number is a free build plan — we scope your specific booking flows before quoting. See our services and pricing for the wider picture.

Why us

Availability + pricing + payments is, fundamentally, a harder variant of e-commerce checkout — and checkout is something we run in production every day. FlexiCommerce, our flagship multi-tenant commerce SaaS, was built solo in roughly 2.5 months: ~450,000 lines of code, ~500 API endpoints, 187 data models, three native Flutter apps, and live payments across Razorpay, PayU and PhonePe with paying customers. That means concurrent transactions, refunds, multi-currency and real reconciliation are problems we've already solved at scale.

We also build client mobile software in production — including a Brazilian field-inspection app (Flutter + Next.js + Supabase) and an app with 10,000+ downloads. Booking is a domain where the difference between a demo and a dependable system is the unglamorous logic underneath. That's exactly the part we take seriously.

When a template or off-the-shelf OTA tool is the better fit: if you need a simple listing page, a single fixed-price product, or you're validating an idea this week with no custom rules, a no-code booking tool or marketplace plugin will get you live faster and cheaper. Choose custom development when booking logic is your business — when overselling, refund accuracy, custom pricing or owning your codebase actually matter to your revenue.

FAQ

Travel & Booking build questions.

Yes — that's a core design goal. We model inventory with proper holds and state transitions so two travellers racing for the last slot can't both book it. This concurrency discipline comes directly from running FlexiCommerce, our production commerce SaaS, where transaction integrity is non-negotiable.

We integrate Razorpay, Stripe, PayU and PhonePe in production, including capture, refunds and reconciliation. For travel, payments are wired directly into your cancellation policy so refunds release inventory and stay consistent with the provider — not just a checkout button bolted on.

Yes. We build native iOS and Android apps from a single Flutter codebase — the same approach we use across our own products and client work, including a client app with 10,000+ downloads. Travellers can browse, book, pay and manage trips from the app.

It starts from ₹4,00,000, billed monthly as the product ships. The final figure depends on your inventory types, pricing rules, payment providers and cancellation policies. We scope your exact flows in a free build plan before quoting, and you own the code from day one.

Yes. We build date-, season- and occupancy-aware pricing so the price a traveller sees is exactly what you intend to charge. Pricing rules are managed from your operator dashboard, giving you control without needing a developer for every rate change.
