Custom SaaS Development for Toronto Startups

Senior custom SaaS and mobile development for Toronto founders, delivered remotely from India. Full code ownership, pay-as-it-ships. See how we work.

Working with Toronto

Ujjwal Technolabs builds custom SaaS and mobile products for Toronto founders, working remotely from Indore, India. Led by Deepak Nagar — 12+ years full-stack — we ship production software the same way we built FlexiCommerce (our own multi-tenant e-commerce SaaS) and a field-inspection app for a Brazilian client. Worldwide, senior, code-owned by you.

Building software for Canada's largest tech hub

Toronto is Canada's largest tech hub, dense with fintech, health, logistics and B2B SaaS startups competing for engineering talent against banks and global firms. That competition makes senior developers scarce and expensive locally. For many founders, a custom build matters because off-the-shelf tools can't model their specific workflow — multi-tenant billing, regional payment rules, or an industry-specific data model — and a senior remote partner closes the talent gap without the local hiring crunch.

How our worldwide remote model works for Toronto teams

We are honest about this: we have no office in Toronto. We are remote-first and have delivered production software across continents, including a Flutter and Next.js field-inspection app for a client in Brazil. Remote works well when collaboration is structured, so here is how we run it:

  • Async-first communication. Written specs, recorded walkthroughs and a shared backlog mean progress continues whether you're awake in Toronto or we're working in India. You wake up to shipped commits, not status meetings.
  • Time-zone overlap by design. India is roughly 9.5–10.5 hours ahead of Eastern Time. We schedule live calls in your morning, which is our evening, giving a reliable daily window for decisions, demos and unblocking.
  • Pay-as-it-ships. We bill monthly as the product ships against transparent "from" pricing. You fund real, deployed progress — not a fixed upfront lump sum.
  • Full code ownership from day one. The repository is yours, no platform lock-in, and you can pause anytime.

What we build

We build production SaaS for any industry — and we run our own, so we know what holds up under real users and real payments. Our flagship, FlexiCommerce, is a multi-tenant e-commerce SaaS built solo in about 2.5 months: roughly 450,000 lines of code, Laravel 12 and Filament 5, a Vue 3 / Inertia 2 dashboard, three native Flutter apps, 187 data models, around 500 API endpoints, and an AI Store Generator that produces a storefront for about $0.06 per generation. That's the depth we bring to client work.

For Toronto teams, that typically means:

  • Multi-tenant SaaS platforms. Tenant isolation, role-based admin, subscription billing and analytics — the patterns we proved at FlexiCommerce scale (70 Filament admin resources, 6 country variants, 9 languages).
  • Native mobile apps. Flutter for iOS and Android from one codebase; one client app we built has passed 10,000+ downloads.
  • AI-powered features. We work with Claude and GPT APIs, RAG and vector search, and embeddings — used in production in our own AI Store Generator. We're fluent in these and build them where they earn their keep, not as a buzzword.
  • Payments and integrations. Proven with Razorpay, Stripe, PayU and PhonePe, plus the surrounding plumbing — webhooks, reconciliation and cryptographic verification.

Our core stack — Laravel/PHP, Filament, Node.js, Vue 3, React, TypeScript, Tailwind, Flutter, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS, Docker — is battle-tested in our own products. We also build with Python/FastAPI, Go, NestJS, Next.js, Nuxt, React Native and native Swift/Kotlin when a product needs them. The right tool follows the requirements, not the other way around.

Start with a plan, not a contract

If you're weighing a custom build, the first step isn't a sales call — it's clarity. Request a free build plan and we'll map your idea into a concrete scope, stack and shipping sequence so you can see exactly what gets built and in what order. From there, pay-as-it-ships means you stay in control of pace and budget, and you own the code throughout. For Toronto founders who want senior delivery without the local hiring bottleneck, that's the value we offer — remotely, worldwide, and grounded in software we actually run ourselves.

The honest part

We're remote — here's how that works for Toronto.

We don't keep an office in Toronto, and we won't pretend to. We're a remote-first studio that has already shipped across borders — including a Brazilian client's app in production. For Toronto founders that means senior engineering on your timezone-overlap hours, async updates you can actually read, and working software every month.

FAQ

Toronto build questions, answered.

No. We're remote-first and based in Indore, India, and we serve Toronto founders worldwide rather than from a local office. We've delivered production software internationally, including a field-inspection app for a client in Brazil, using structured async collaboration and a daily overlap window.

India runs roughly 9.5–10.5 hours ahead of Eastern Time. We work async-first with written specs and recorded walkthroughs, and schedule live calls during your morning (our evening). That gives a reliable daily window for demos and decisions while shipping continues around the clock.

We use transparent "from" pricing billed monthly as the product ships — pay-as-it-ships — so you fund deployed progress rather than a large upfront lump sum. Pricing is in INR with USD as a secondary currency. Request a free build plan for a concrete scope and figure.

Yes — you own the code and repository from day one, with no platform lock-in. You can pause the engagement anytime. Full ownership is a core part of how we work, so there's no dependency on us to continue running or maintaining your product.
