Working with Amsterdam

Custom SaaS for Amsterdam startups is built by Ujjwal Technolabs, a senior remote studio led by Deepak Nagar with 12+ years of full-stack experience. We work worldwide from Indore, India, and ship production SaaS, multi-tenant platforms, and native mobile apps to Amsterdam founders the same way we built and run our own products.

Why a custom build matters in the Amsterdam ecosystem

Amsterdam is one of Europe's strongest tech ecosystems — dense with fintech, marketplace, and B2B SaaS companies, supported by a mature investor base and an English-fluent talent pool. That competition is exactly why an off-the-shelf platform often becomes a ceiling: as your product finds its niche, the differentiation lives in the parts no template can give you. A custom build lets a Dutch startup own its data model, its compliance posture, and its workflows outright — instead of bending the business to fit someone else's software.

How our worldwide remote model works for Amsterdam teams

Let's be direct: we are not physically in Amsterdam. We are remote-first from India, and that is the model — not a compromise. India is roughly 3.5–4.5 hours ahead of the Netherlands, which gives a workable overlap window for live calls in your morning and our afternoon, while the offset also means progress lands overnight on your side.

  • Async by default: clear written specs, recorded demos, and a shared backlog so decisions don't wait on a single time slot.
  • Predictable overlap: a fixed weekly live window plus ad-hoc calls when something needs real-time discussion.
  • Full code ownership from day one: the repository is yours from the first commit — no platform lock-in.
  • Pay-as-it-ships: transparent "from" pricing billed monthly as the product ships. You can pause anytime.

What we build

We build production SaaS for any industry — and we run our own, so we know what survives real users and real payments. Our flagship, FlexiCommerce, is a live multi-tenant e-commerce SaaS with paying customers, built solo in around 2.5 months: roughly 450,000 lines of code on Laravel 12 and Filament 5, a Vue 3 / Inertia 2 front end, three native Flutter apps, 187 data models, around 500 API endpoints, and an AI Store Generator that runs at about $0.06 per generation. It ships with 6 country variants, 9 languages, and payment integrations including Razorpay, PayU, and PhonePe.

For Amsterdam founders, that translates into work like:

  • Multi-tenant SaaS platforms — the architecture, billing, admin tooling, and tenant isolation that a B2B product needs to scale past its first customers.
  • Native mobile apps — built in Flutter (we shipped three for FlexiCommerce) and other native stacks; one client app has surpassed 10,000 downloads.
  • Field and operations software — for example, a Brazilian client's field-inspection app built with Flutter, Next.js, and Supabase, now in production.
  • AI features — generation, RAG and vector search, LLM agents, and embeddings woven into a product where they genuinely earn their place, not bolted on for show.

Our core production stack is Laravel/PHP, Filament, Node.js, Vue 3, React, TypeScript, Tailwind, Flutter, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS, Docker, and Cloudflare. We are also fluent in extended tooling — Python/FastAPI, Go, NestJS, GraphQL, Next.js, React Native, Swift, Kotlin, Kubernetes, Terraform, and more — and we choose the stack the product actually needs rather than forcing every job through one framework.

When a local Amsterdam studio is the better fit

Remote senior delivery is not right for everyone. If your project depends on frequent in-person workshops, on-site stakeholder facilitation, or a partner who can sit in the room with your investors and regulators, a Netherlands-based agency or an in-house Amsterdam team will serve you better. We're a strong fit when you want senior, owner-led engineering, transparent pay-as-it-ships pricing, and a team that has actually built and operated SaaS — and you're comfortable working async with a clear overlap window.

Start with a plan

If you're weighing a custom build, the lowest-risk first step is a concrete plan rather than a vague quote. Get a free build plan and we'll scope your SaaS or mobile product honestly — what to build first, what it costs, and what it shouldn't include yet. Reach the founder directly at deepak@flexicommerce.in.

The honest part

We're remote — here's how that works for Amsterdam.

We don't keep an office in Amsterdam, and we won't pretend to. We're a remote-first studio that has already shipped across borders — including a Brazilian client's app in production. For Amsterdam founders that means senior engineering on your timezone-overlap hours, async updates you can actually read, and working software every month.

FAQ

Amsterdam build questions, answered.

No. Ujjwal Technolabs is remote-first from Indore, India, with no physical office in Amsterdam or elsewhere in the Netherlands. We serve Amsterdam founders entirely remotely — that's the model, and our production work for clients worldwide was delivered the same way.

India sits about 3.5–4.5 hours ahead of the Netherlands, giving a reliable overlap for live calls in your morning and our afternoon. We default to async — written specs, recorded demos, a shared backlog — with a fixed weekly live window plus calls whenever real-time discussion is needed.

We use transparent "from" prices billed monthly as the product ships — pay-as-it-ships — so you fund progress, not promises. You can pause anytime with no platform lock-in. Pricing is shown in INR primarily and USD secondarily; see our pricing page for the current breakdown.

You do, from day one. The repository is yours from the first commit, with full code ownership and no lock-in to any proprietary platform. If you ever want to take the project in-house or to another team, nothing holds you back.
